It’s a pretty good bet that most folk consider Points to be pretty much a survey thing in Civil 3D. One of my long-standing Civil 3D wish list items is a basic form of elementary Audit functionality. I acknowledge that even the concept of some form of audit in Civil 3D is unlikely to reach high into an everyday Civil 3D user’s wish list for obvious reasons. We all get it.
