We’re grinding through the last QAQC and packaging details of two major new releases of the Framework for Civil 3D 2020. The new Release 8 (NCS 6.0+) and Release 7 (NCS 5.0+) for Civil 3D 2020 will also update new, huge collections of Styles and Label Styles for our existing Framework for Civil 3D 2018.3 and Civil 3D 2019.2 customers.

What do you know? Based on our initial testing of the shipping build of Autodesk Civil 3D 2020, both the current Release 8 and Release 7 builds (based on the last Civil 3D 2019.2 Update) of the Framework for Civil 3D products all upgrade and run great in Civil 3D 2020. There’s a reason for that.

Autodesk released the AutoCAD Civil 3D 2018.3 Update in the first week of April. This update announcement isn’t an April Fools hoax. This third, and probably final, Update for Civil 3D 2018 basically includes a rasher of interoperability enhancements and many related fix it updates for Civil 3D 2018.
