We all occasionally hear the refrain or claim: “Our projects in Civil 3D are too small to make Data References (DREFs) and Data Shortcuts worth the effort. We manage to get most of our work done in one drawing.”

Autodesk released the Autodesk Civil 3D 2023.3 Update late last week. The Civil 3D 2023.3 Update was released at the same time as the latest Autodesk Civil 3D 2024.1 Update. Oh yeah. There was also an important AutoCAD 2023.1.4 Update released the day before the Civil 3D 2023.3 Update.
