Is this part of your day in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012?
"In AutoCAD 2012 versions, mouse cursor freezes during pan or zoom command or when other commands are invoked. Also, general performance slowdown may be experienced. This typically happens if multiple External References (XREF) are attached to the drawing."
Autodesk released a Performance Slowdown Hotfix for this bad boy back on May 24, 2011 in cased you missed it... I'm pretty sure that my previous post about the PSDHF mentioned the Layer issues that are also involved.
There are 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the Hotfix...
STOP...There's more...and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one...
The Block Editor ate my Drawing! @#$#^$%
This all too painful event could happen to me...
I'm running AutoCAD Land Desktop 2012 64-bit for the Mac on my Andriod +1 iPiddle
