Hey. I'm still a GeeK doing technical geek CAD Standards and CAD Implementation stuff at AU 2011 in CAD Management and IT track.
I like to speak geek too. So do many of you. Implementation is ALL about People. Process, and Structure. How Do You Do That? Want to Share? UdoMedo too...
We've ALL got to deal with the hardware that makes the software go. Look for this Unconference session when you sign up for Autodesk University 2011.
More UnCAD: It's a CAD Toaster
In this Unconference session, we get together to focus again on things NOT CAD software. Specifically, we will look into the Management Theory and Practice of CAD Toasters and their care and feeding.
Our workstation computers functionally and financially became replaceable appliances quite some time ago. Do we deal with them that way? It's time to tell the truth and face the facts about the "my computer myth." Deal with the reality—it's a Toaster.
Let's get together and talk about the many real-world issues that we face. Come prepared to ask questions and deliver what you have learned yourself out on the street. We will all have to deal with the increased heat of more Intel® 3D transistors running on more cores next year. Is that just more work or is it the Moore's Law of more possibilities?
Autodesk University 2011 sign up and registration starts at the end of August and/or first week of September depending on who you talk too. Stay tuned for More AU 2011 details.
The Leadership Forum an AU 2011 seats will only be available on a first come first served basis.
