A really well-presented overview of Civil 3D Toolbox Reports and basic customization of the same.
All the important details and essential mechanics are covered.
I personally employ some Toolbox reports all the time within the course of project development and not just at the end. Alignment-based Point Groups are a great example. You do have to know what the report engine eats for data.
You may want to consider standardizing your Report file names and project folder locations. These become placeholders in your Civil 3D Project Template.
