Civil 3D Superelevation View Edit

Remember you can hop to any video on the list from the list icon

This is a 6 part video list that covers in-depth and detail Civil 3D Superelevation Edit in the Superelevation View.

The problem - match the old superelevation data to repave an existing roadway with an overlay.

Edits of Superelevation in a Civil 3D Superelevation View are a bit tricky at first. This will make it easier.

Worth a watch because of the systematic big picture to details approach that works.

The Civil 3D Variable Slope Daylight Subassembly

Would you like to experiment with the subassembly part used in this recording?
If so, it can be downloaded here - http://a360.co/1lzlVgv

A special thanks goes to Autodesk's Peter Funk who was the driving force behind creating this part!

This video demos an daylight Subassembly from Autodesk that deals with a typical transition problem in roadways and other non-linear corridor design problems. There is also a metric version of this Subassembly available on Autodesk International blogs. Hint: you need to put the PKT in a Tool Palette to use it.

A video from a post from the Autodesk Transportation blog by Jeff Bartels.

This is a 9 part video list that covers in-depth and detail an FDOT approach to corridor modeling for multi-lane roadways.

Covers methods to produce "nosings" in turn lane sections of divided roads. Does not employ Intersections. Employs a multi-corridor approach. Covers the details of Alignments, Subassembly name issues, Assembly Grouping, Baselines, and Regions. Employs Feature lines as targets. Includes Section Edits to Design Control.

This listing also appears in the FDOT YouTube channel.
