Sep 18, 2025 – Autodesk released the AutoCAD 2024.1.8 Update for AutoCAD 2024 and the AutoCAD 2024 Toolset products
The AutoCAD 2024.1.8 Update is available via Autodesk Access or via download from the Autodesk subscription site.
The AutoCAD 2024.1.8 Update install requires access to the original install resources.
The AutoCAD 2024.1.8 Update cannot be uninstalled and includes all previous updates.

AutoCAD 2024.1.8 Update
The Update resolves reported crashes and defects and includes a number of important fixes that affect daily production work. This Update also includes changes to zoom/pan performance and Sheet Set Manager and custom paper sizes of plot dialog etc.

- Occasional crashes when opening, saving, or reloading a few external references in some host drawings.

- Exploded blocks no longer change after running EXPORTLAYOUT command.
- The default plotted file name always follow the legacy behavior: File Name+Layout Name.pdf, regardless of the printer driver used (third-party PDF printer or DWG to PDF).
- The Vault ribbon tab on AutoCAD now displays correctly when the registry entries point to a UNC path.
