Aug 6, 2026 – Autodesk released the AutoCAD 2026.1.2 Update
The AutoCAD 2026.1.2 Updateis available via Autodesk Access or via download from the Autodesk subscription site.
The install requires access to the original install resources.
The AutoCAD 2026.1.2 Update contains all previous updates to 2026. The update cannot be uninstalled.

AutoCAD 2026.1.2 Update
The AutoCAD 2026.1.2 Update includes upgrades to support .NET 10.0 and resolves reported crashes and defects.
Due to .NET 10 compatibility issues there are also AutoCAD 2026 .NET 10.0 Toolset Updates required.

Plot and Print
- Occasional crashes when printing with Plot Transparency enabled using a third-party PDF printer on drawings that contain DWF attachments.
- Occasional crashes when plotting to certain third-party printers, such as Sharp printers, with Plot Transparency enabled.
- Occasional crashes when plotting to a custom scale using the HP Click printer driver.
Point Cloud
- Occasional crashes when attaching a point cloud file in a 3D model space or layout view.
General
- Occasional crashes when opening or plotting DWG files using Autodesk Vault's Plot Manager.
- Occasional crashes when performing editing operations such as trimming some simple entities.
- Occasional crashes when using PDFIMPORT or PDFATTACH with certain PDF files no longer occur.
Fixed Issues
Connected Sheet Set Manager
- Cloud sheet sets (.dst) now lock and sync correctly through Connected SSM when automatically opened with their associated sheet (.dwg).
Geolocations
- Online maps from Bing now load and display correctly in the Geolocation feature without showing an error message or appearing pixelated.
- The GEOLOCATION online map now loads correctly behind a firewall, so the map appears instead of only the location marker.
Performance
- Improved performance when switching between model space and layouts in large or complex drawings.
- Improved performance for AutoCAD launching time when Windows is configured to a display language other than English (United States).
- AutoCAD 2026 overall performance has improved for common workflows, including opening drawings and printing to PDF.
Plot
- Text and MText objects near the edges of polygonal viewports no longer appear with incorrect line weights or as bold when plotting to PDF.
- Drawings now rotate correctly in plotted output when Landscape orientation is set in both the printer's custom properties and the Plot dialog.
General
- A second instance of AutoCAD can be launched successfully using the LISP startapp function.
- Raster image external references display correctly after the save path is changed while Raster Design is installed.
- The LAYISO command launches correctly when invoked from the ribbon in AutoCAD 2026.
- AutoCAD no longer freezes on Windows 11 25H2 (build 26200.8246) after installing Windows update KB5083769.
- Using Open File Location no longer leaves an orphaned File Explorer process running after the File Explorer window is closed.
- Images inside polygonal viewports now plot correctly when using GDI-based drivers such as Adobe PDF.
