Sept 1, 2026 – Autodesk released the Autodesk Civil 3D 2024.4.9 Update
The Autodesk Civil 3D 2024.4.9 Update is available via the Autodesk Access app or via download from the Autodesk subscription site.
The updates require access to the original install resources.
This Civil 3D 2024.4.9 Update appears to be the promised .NET 10 compliant release.

Official release date is Aug 31, 2026.
The Civil 3D 2024.4.9 Update cannot be uninstalled.
To restore Civil 3D to a prior version of Civil 3D 2024, you must uninstall Civil 3D 2024 and reinstall it.
Autodesk Forma and other Autodesk Cloud functionality requires the most recent release of the Autodesk Desktop Connector is installed.
Autodesk Civil 3D 2024.4.9 Update
The Civil 3D 2024.4.9 Update includes security updates and incorporates the latest AutoCAD and Map 3D platform updates.
It also addresses issues with the ArcGIS Connector and with starting Civil 3D when AutoCAD or Map 3D updates have been installed separately on an earlier Civil 3D 2024 release.

Fixed Issues
- ArcGIS Connector closes unexpectedly — In earlier Civil 3D 2024 releases, Civil 3D could close when using the ArcGIS Connector after the Map ArcGIS Connector.
- Civil 3D does not start after an AutoCAD update — If AutoCAD 2024.1.9 Update was installed on an earlier Civil 3D 2024 release, Civil 3D could display an error and fail to start. Installing Civil 3D 2024.4.9 Update resolves this.
- ArcGIS Connector closes unexpectedly after a Map 3D update — If Map 3D 2024.0.3 Update (or 2024.0.2 Update) was installed on an earlier Civil 3D 2024 release, Civil 3D could close when using the ArcGIS Connector. Installing Civil 3D 2024.4.9 Update resolves this.
