This Autodesk Desktop Connector (ADC) release supports the Autodesk 2024 products.

Autodesk Desktop Connector 16.2.1.2016 Install Details

The earlier version of ADC 15.8 must be uninstalled prior to the installation of Autodesk Desktop Connector 16.2.1.2016.

The Desktop Connector install automatically updates ADC 16+ versions .
A computer Restart is suggested.

Note that Autodesk clearly states that Autodesk Customer Support only supports the current version of the Desktop Connector.

Resolved Issues

• Fixed a bug where Revit files (e.g. rvt) and older Microsoft Office files (e.g. doc, ppt, xls) will create a new version uploaded to BIM 360/ACC each time the software is opened via Desktop Connector. With this update you may open a file and the version will remain unchanged until you update and/or save the file.
• Fixed a bug when you rename files quickly in Docs in a certain order the files fail to sync and all users subscribed to that project will repeatedly crash showing the AddInProcess.exe.
  Example: Rename the file A.dwg to B.dwg, then quickly rename C.dwg to A.dwg.
