Autodesk Geotechnical Module 2020-2021
Last year Bentley purchased Keynetix. Keynetix previously produced the Autodesk Geotechnical Module for a number of years. The uphill product (Hole Base) has been renamed Open Ground and is now available from the Bentley site.
This release appears to be the first official joint Bentley and Autodesk version of Autodesk Geotechnical.
The Autodesk Geotechnical Module for Civil 3D 2020 and Civil 3D 2021 provides upgraded support that includes:
- Import borehole data
- Create 3D borehole modules
- Display 2D borehole strip diagrams
- Display 2D borehole diagrams on Autodesk Civil 3D profiles based on a buffered alignment
- Create and manage Autodesk Civil 3D surfaces based on borehole data
