Autodesk Revit 2026.1 Update

Accelerated Views

• Optimized the memory usage of views by an average of 10% when Accelerated Revit Graphics Tech Preview is enabled.
• Improved performance by an average of 15% when Accelerated View is activated.

Coordination Model

• Improved the selection highlight of Coordination Model elements that changed between versions of the Coordination Model.
• Removed the dependency of the Coordination Model graphics on the Visibility Graphics switch for showing model objects.

Dynamo for Revit

• Upgraded Dynamo Core version to 3.5.0. See the release notes for details.

Edit

• Improved the Rotate origin setting so that it is remembered across Revit sessions.

Energy Analytical Model

• Improved multi-planar shade surfaces that were created from conceptual masses by now generating them in separate planes.

Import/Export gbXML

• Fixed the ConditionType parameter in gbXML for unconditioned analytical spaces when using the Rooms or Spaces mode to generate the energy analytical model.

Materials

• Fixed the default size of Material Browser.

Options Dialog

• Added a slow double-click rename option for the Project Browser, a right-click option for a view to open a placed view, and double-click options to edit a schedule or a view on a sheet.

Print

• Fixed an issue where elements with filled regions displayed as underlay would incorrectly print and export on top of room color fills in the current view while displaying correctly.

Revit Home

• Improved the page layout by removing the Publish button from the search results page exclusively for projects in the new Revit home.

Spell Check

• Added support for Brazilian Portuguese (PTB) to the Revit spell check engine.

Structural Analytical Model

• Enhanced the Analytical Model Automation experience, making one-click automation easier with model preselection and a new way to customize the automation settings from the Revit ribbon.
• Added a feature that ensures the integrity of Automation Results by restricting users from modifying Load Cases when Automation Results are present.
• Added the notification "The automation tool could not be identified" when the analytical automation script GUID isn't the proper length.
• Added the ability for API methods PickObject and PickObjects to select curve references from AnalyticalElement objects when parameter objectType is set to Edge.

Structural Load Cases and Combinations

• Rearranged Load Cases and Combinations UI to allow users to efficiently manage load cases and combinations information.
• Added the ability to automate Load Combination creation based on selected Design Codes for better coordination across analysis and design tools.

View

• Added the ability to modify single or multiline parameter labels for sections, elevations, callouts, and view reference objects directly in-canvas.
• Added the ability to use the Open command directly on one or more placed views from a sheet to open the view directly.
• Added new keyboard shortcut support for contextual commands Open, Open Sheet, Edit Schedule, Move Aligned to Sheet, and Go to View. Depending on the workflow, keyboard shortcuts can be utilized for these commands when active in views or sheets.
• Added the ability to use the Saved Position parameter as part of a filter in a schedule view.

• Fixed an issue in which Boundary Conditions Settings and Load Scaling Display commands opened other menus.

Color Fill

• Fixed an issue where non-masking solid filled regions with a transparency override set did not vector print or export when no model elements where behind them in the view.

Coordination Model

• Fixed an issue where the Manage Links dialog didn't display links if there were links with duplicate names.

Dynamo for Revit

• Fixed an issue where the DynamoSettings.xml file included in the install deployment did not impact Dynamo settings as expected.

• Fixed an issue that prevented system-zones that are placed at a low level offset from being assigned to the intersecting analytical space.
• Fixed an issue when submitting an analysis that has a dot in the file name.

• Fixed an issue that prevented the calculated loads being applied to Analytical Spaces when the Energy Analytical Model was generated using the Rooms or Spaces mode.

• Fixed an issue when using the slope tool that included in-line components in vertical pipes would result in unexpected elevation changes.

Pressure Loss Calculations

• Increased the tolerance when using the angle to assign the ASHRAE table and pressure drop to duct elbows.
• Fixed an issue where ASHRAE tables were not available for duct takeoffs.

Print

• Fixed an issue where solid fills were missing for elements with transparency in print, export PDF, or export DWG with vector processing where a non-transparent element was displayed in the Underlay behind them.
• Fixed an API issue where an exception could occur while attempting to access PrintManager.

Project Browser

• Improved stability when renaming sheets from the project browser.
• Improved the Project Browser to prevent it from flashing when switching between an active project or family documents.
