Jul 8, 2025 – Autodesk released the Autodesk Revit 2026.2 Update
The Autodesk Revit 2026.2 Update is available via Autodesk Access or via download from the Autodesk subscription site.
The Revit 2026 updates are cumulative and include all changes from previously released Revit 2026 updates.
The official release date is Jul 8, 2025.
Revit 2026.2 Update does not support uninstall.
Autodesk Revit 2026.2 Update
The Revit 2026.2 update introduces several valuable enhancements, including Dynamo for Revit 3.5.2, improvements to the Accelerated Graphics Technology Preview, enhancements to rebar constraint editing, and Background PDF export is now set as the default.

Enhancements
Accelerated Views
- Improved performance by an average of 10% when orbiting in 3D views with the crop region enabled.
- Added the ability to display transparency of highlighted elements in the Accelerated Graphics Tech Preview.
- Added the ability to crop views with a rectangular crop region in the Accelerated Graphics Tech Preview.
Dynamo for Revit
- Upgraded Dynamo Core version to 3.5.2. See the release notes for details.
Export PDF
- Set Export in background as the default for PDF export.
MEP Fabrication
- Changed the behavior of assemblies that contain fabrication parts to always be unique, even when they match.
Reinforcement
- Improved the behavior when editing rebar constraints to allow undo / redo steps, switching views, and modifying the properties of the edited rebar.
Text
- Supported using Ctrl + arrows to move the cursor between words and paragraphs in the text editor.

- Addressed potential security vulnerabilities.
Analytical Energy Model
- Fixed an issue where the Project Phase in Energy Settings was not included when combining phases in the Phasing dialog.
Coordination Model
- Fixed an issue affecting the changed element report from the Coordination Model Changes palette after a user sign out and sign in iteration.
Dynamo for Revit
- Fixed an issue where the DynamoSettings.xml file included in the install deployment did not impact Dynamo settings as expected.
Export DWG/DXF
- Fixed an issue where hatches were exported incorrectly to CAD formats if the patterned elements were transparent in the Revit view.
Export PDF
- Improved the stability of Revit Worker when cancelling background PDF export task.
Family
- Improved stability when adding or modifying family extrusion sketch lines and modifying the Depth parameter.
Family Parameters
- Improved stability during some sweep geometry edit operations.
MEP Duct/Pipe Pressure Loss Calculations
- Fixed an issue that caused instability when saving a model that is missing a duct pressure drop calculator.

- Improved stability when transferring project standards with corrupted materials.
