Apr 1, 2020 – Autodesk released the Autodesk Single Sign On Component Update
The Autodesk Single Sign On Component Update is available via the Autodesk Desktop Connector app or via download from the Autodesk subscription site.
The official public release date was March 30, 2020.
Autodesk Single Sign On Component Update
The update includes improvements related to sign-in experience, security and resiliency of the Autodesk Single Sign On Component. This is an iterative update and is applicable for 2020 and 2021 releases.
Autodesk strongly recommends installing the latest available version of the Autodesk Single Sign On Component for better reliability and performance.
Install Note
The install documentation suggests you exit all Autodesk applications (this includes Connectors) and temporarily turn of the AdSSO.exe process (if it is running) before installing the Update.
Obviously, the Autodesk Desktop Connector app does not count.
Improvements and Fixes:
- Fixed defects related to incorrect registry keys affecting the sign-in experience.
- Upgraded library versions to support security compliance with the latest Department of Defense standards.
- Enhancements to the crash error reporting for the Autodesk Single Sign On Component.
