Oct 20, 2014 – Autodesk releases the Autodesk Civil Engineering Data Translator. The CEDT is a cloud based Productivity enhancement to AutoCAD Civil 3D 2015 that may be downloaded from the Autodesk Subscription Center. The app is added to the Toolbox in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Translations are performed in the Autodesk 360 cloud and require login to the Autodesk 320 service.
The Civil Engineering Data Translator facilitates data translations between Bentley® GEOPAK® and Bentley® InRoads® and AutoCAD Civil 3D 2015 via a cloud based translation tool powered in the Autodesk 360 cloud.
Engineering data translations of Surfaces, Alignments, and Profiles is supported in both directions. Separate commands support Export to and Import in for the supported Bentley products in Civil 3D.
