Navisworks Manage 2026.2.1 Update

User Interface and Usability

• Columns in the Edit Links dialog now automatically adjust their width to show the full content (NW-61426).
• IFC 4.3 and IFC 2x3 files now display the same hierarchy in the Selection Tree (NW-62031).
• You can now double-click a custom property to edit its value (NW-62186).
• When using a 3Dconnexion SpaceMouse, the navigation speed is now slower, and the fit button fits only the active selection to the view instead of the whole model (NW-62205 and NW-62206).
• Improved the speed with which Alignments are processed and displayed when using Civil Alignment Tools (NW-62218).
• The Scripter and Animator plug-ins are no longer treated as legacy plug-ins, avoiding unexpected product closures when opening Navisworks (NW-62106).

NWD Files

• NWD files can now be published with embedded database properties without causing an unexpected product closure (NW-62101).

Appearance Profiler

• You can now click any point on the Transparency slider in the Appearance Profiler dialog to move directly to that point, instead of gradually increasing or decreasing the transparency (NW-62318).
• There is now a refresh button on the Appearance Profiler dialog, which can be used to reload profiles after making updates (NW-61984).
• You can now reorder the rules on the Appearance Profiler dialog (NW-61988).
• There is now a Hide option on the Appearance Proflier dialog, enabling you to hide objects as part of a rule (NW-61997).

Clash Detective

• Clash test default assignee and priority fields are now respected when exported as an XML (NW-62138).

Saved Viewpoints

• Improved handling when dragging and dropping viewpoints into the Saved Viewpoints window (NW-62264).

General

• The decimal separator in AutoCAD Plant 3D property values is now the same between Navisworks 2023 and 2024 (NW-61052).
• Fixed an issue causing the Find Next option to not work correctly from the currently selected item in several places, including when working with selection sets (NW-61329).
• The Save as option on the BIM 360 Glue tab now works as expected when saving to a server (NW-61545).
• Fixed an issue causing an unexpected product closure to occur when opening Navisworks for some users (NW-61955).
• SOLIDWORKS files now load correctly in Navisworks 2026 (NW-62012 and NW-62069).
• Navisworks now correctly displays the German umlaut and other URL encoded UTF-8 characters in file names when opened from add-ins such as the Coordination Issues Add-In (NW-62051).
• Exporting to NWD when the model contains multiple instanced groups containing different numbers of nodes now works as expected (NW-62102).
• Changing the units on the Units and Transform dialog now works as expected (NW-62164).
• Fixed an issue causing Navisworks to freeze when loading certain views from Model Coordination (NW-62219).
• When importing FBX files into Navisworks, fixed an issue causing some parts of the model using textures to not be visible or not display the correct textures (NW-62273).
• Saved layouts now work as expected (NW-62277).
• Fixed an issue causing the color picker to get stuck behind the Navisworks screen when moving between applications (NW-61976).
• When updating property sets in Quick Properties, the changes are now displayed correctly as columns in the Selection Inspector window (NW-62191).

Civil Alignments

• Fixed an issue causing an unexpected product closure when using the Measure tool on models containing civil alignments in Navisworks Freedom 2024 (NW-62052).
• The expiry date calendar in the Publish dialog is now correctly translated to match the locale setting of the rest of Navisworks (NW-61313).
• Alignment data is now correctly extracted and displayed for DWG files in Navisworks 2026 (NW-62089).

Clash Detective

• Fixed an issue causing an unexpected product closure when moving clashes into or between clash groups (NW-62058).
• Using column filters on the Results tab of the Clash Detective is now faster and more responsive when there are many clash results (NW-61264).
• When using multiple filters in the Tests panel of the Clash Detective, assigning an issue to a user when the filters would result in an empty clash test no longer causes an unexpected product closure (NW-62139).
• Fixed an issue causing an unexpected product closure when clicking the Clash Point column in the Results tab of the Clash Detective (NW-62146).
• Dragging a clash and changing its status on the Results tab of the Clash Detective now works as expected (NW-62288).
• Fixed an issue causing clash test import to fail when the default assignee and priority fields have been preset in the imported file (NW-62392).
• When filters have been applied on the Results tab of the Clash Detective, selecting two clash groups and changing their status now works as expected (NW-62054).
• It is now possible to correct the text and change the capitalization of the Assign To field when assigning a clash (NW-62121).
• Fixed an issue causing Navisworks to stop responding when trying to filter clash results after making bulk clash status changes (NW-62220).
• Clashes that have an entry in the Description field are no longer incorrectly duplicated when rerunning a clash test (NW-62371).

Appearance Profiler

• The option to show or hide profiles when no matching selection is found, can now also be toggled to make items transparent when they are not found in any rule (NW-61288).
• Fixed an issue causing the Color and Transparency fields on the Appearance Profiler to not reset to default as expected when creating a new profile (NW-61347).
• Improved Appearance Profiler user interface (NW-61412).
• The color picker now automatically updates to match the colors selected when editing a profile rule (NW-62275).

Viewpoints

• The comment icon on saved viewpoints is now removed when all comments are deleted (NW-61475).
• The comment icon now displays correctly on saved viewpoints when comments are added using the Comments window (NW-61476).

IFC files

• Fixed an issue causing some IFC files to not load (NW-62279).
• IFC files that use world coordination offset now load in the correct grid location (NW-62280).

RVM files

• RVM property values are now displayed correctly, including any leading 0 (NW-62053).
• RVM ATT properties now appear correctly on the appropriate nodes in the Selection Tree (NW-62055).
