The Autodesk Revit 2026.4.2 Update is available via the Autodesk Access app or via download from the Autodesk subscription site.

The update requires access to the original install resources.

The Revit 2026.4.2 Update does not support uninstall.
Once Revit 2026.4.2 Update is applied Revit 2026 cannot be reverted to its pre-update state.

The official release date is Jul 9, 2026.

  • Fixed an issue that could prevent upgrading older models when certain tags were missing a host.
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent projects containing multi-category tags with hosts from linked Revit models from upgrading successfully.
