Autodesk Assistant

• Enabled Autodesk Assistant for Revit and MCP tools so users can receive improvements, new capabilities, and fixes independently of standard Revit upgrade releases. This shortens delivery time while maintaining compatibility with supported Revit releases and protecting product stability.

Duct/Pipe Sizing

• Added support for pipe sizing to the MEP Sizing Calculator.

Dynamo for Revit

• Upgraded Dynamo Core version to 4.1.1 See the release notes for details.

File Open/Save

• Enabled a Tech Preview for Incremental Model Open, providing faster model open while consuming less hardware resources.

Forma Connected Clients

• Added the ability to run Microclimate analysis and evaluate perceived temperature on site by combining sun, wind, and sky exposure with localized weather and climate data.
• Improved scenario connection status after a model is disconnected from a scenario.
• Fixed an issue where acquiring geolocation from DWG failed to place models correctly in the Forma Connected Client workflow.

Graphics

• Added the ability to display Ambient Shadows in Accelerated Revit Graphics views.

Reinforcement

• Added enhanced control over the visibility of middle bars in spliced rebar sets, enabling quick selection and display across splice chains.

Revit Home

• Added support for displaying model location in search results in Revit Home.
• Added the ability to create new Forma Data Management project in Revit Home.

Shared Coordinates

• Fixed the issue where geolocation from acquiring DWG failed to place models correctly in the Forma Connected Client workflow.

Sheets

• Added additional snap capabilities when adjusting view title extension lines and when dragging the view title family. In addition, view title extension line grips now show when either the view title or viewport is selected.

Site

• Users can now order Parcel data from Forma Contextual Data Marketplace without leaving Revit.

Tags

• Added the Tag by Example command, which supports the creation or replacement of tags using a specified example tag. New tags follow the same appearance and properties of the example tag.

General

• Addressed potential security vulnerabilities.

AEC Data Model

• Fixed an issue that duplicated family parameters are missed for some categories in the AEC Data Model.

Beams and Braces

• Fixed an issue where structural steel beams appeared incorrectly shortened at connection points after opening or upgrading a model from a previous version.
• Fixed an issue where shape handles for structural beams and braces were not displayed in section views.

Ceiling

• Fixed an issue that caused Revit to close unexpectedly when switching between document tabs in models containing ceilings.

Color Fill

• Improved stability when adding a new value for color scheme.

Energy Model

• Fixed an issue when creating an energy model using the Conceptual Masses and Building Elements mode, so that air openings are created for rectangular wall openings.
• Added a fix for building elements mode when opening faces in analytical geometry for shaft openings are not created.
• Added a fix for Rooms and Spaces mode. If a hosted family is not a window, door, or curtain wall panel, Revit cannot determine the opening type for EAM. In this case the opening will be ignored.

Forma Connected Clients

• Fixed an issue where Revit Cloud Models would reconnect to a previously connected Scenario after a Save As operation.

Heating and Cooling Loads

• Improved stability when running a heating and cooling analysis for a model with plenums.

IFC

• Improved the performance of IFC export by 30% in common cases.
• Fixed linking of IFC files after changing the name of Autodesk Docs to Autodesk Forma.

Import/Export/Link STL/OBJ/STEP

• Fixed an issue that prevented STEP files on Desktop Connector from being linked into Revit.

Issues Management

• Improved stability when viewing issues created in 2D views after the model had been saved to the cloud.

Print

• Fixed an issue in views using MEP Hidden lines where the outer line of the duct/pipe/wire was missing the vector print or export when it was a parallel edge to a second duct/pipe/wire at another height inside the set gap distance.

Revit Cloud Model (workshared)

• Updated the product branding terminology in the enabling cloud worksharing dialog.
• Improved resiliency for the Sync with Central dialog.

Schedules

• Fixed an issue with an incorrect material takeoff schedule when the family material is set to By Category.

Startup/Shutdown

• Improved stability when required .NET components are missing.

Steel Fabrication Elements

• Fixed an issue where large steel fabrication models would fail to open/upgrade.

Structural Analytical Model

• Fixed an issue in Physical to Analytical for Buildings functionality in which the main analytical beams were not aligned on the analytical columns that were supporting them, in specific cases of roof elements.

User Interface

• Addressed an issue with the Autodesk Assistant disappearing after closing the last open project, then exiting the session.

Worksharing

• Updated the product branding terminology in the Enable Cloud Worksharing dialog.
