The Shared Reference Point for Revit 2019 is available via the Autodesk Desktop App or via download from the Autodesk subscription site.

Shared Reference Point for Revit 2019

The Shared Reference Point extension provides functionality to export known points and elevation from Civil 3D to an external file, in which Revit can import and setup a Shared Coordinate System.  This enables the collaboration of exported RVT, DWG and NWC files back to Civil 3D and to coordinate models in Autodesk Navisworks.

Key Features of the Shared Reference Point Extension

  • Two individual installations for Civil 3D and Revit
  • Export coordinates and elevation from Civil 3D to external .xml file
  • Import that .xml file into Revit based on same known positions and create a Shared Coordinate System

The Shared Reference Point Extension can be added to Civil 3D 2019 and Revit 2019 network deployment installs. See the readme above for the details.
