Autodesk Structural Bridge Design is a full suite of design section, design beam and structural analysis modules, integrated into one product to provide an extremely powerful tool for the analysis and design of bridge structures using line beam, grillage, frame analysis and finite element techniques.

Structural Analysis to Design Section Transfer
- Structural analysis load effects with breakdown of My factored value
- Traffic loads in traffic compilations are factored by elements such as lane factors, which in previous versions were not part of the bottom load table. This table has been enhanced to include columns for factors that contribute to the factored effect. Examples of the additional factors added include lane (track or presence), dynamic, or other.
User Vehicle Library
- User Vehicle definitions for traffic loading can now be imported and exported in JSON text based format, in addition to the existing binary format method.
User Interface Changes
- All the Section and Beam analysis parameter inputs has been changed to use vertical grid-based format.
- Over 40 older-style grids have been replaced with the modern-style grid to improve workflow efficiency.
Miscellaneous Enhancements
- A color key is now shown on the 3D Elements graphic for the following "Color by" options:
- The complete examples documented have been modified to save the project at the end of each section, making it easier to jump into the tutorial at any section.
Fixed Issues
Project / Structural Analysis
- Resolved an issue with the display of US LRFD design code version in the 'Create From Template' form.
- Fixed an internal error when creating a new concrete material for a US LRFD 9 beam.
- Fixed user defined vehicle zero position wheel check.
Design Beams
- Revised US LRFD Pre-Tensioned Beam tensile stress limits.
Design Sections
- Fixed analysis of specific Australian curved pier section. The fix is in the calculated area for torsion and may now give a different value for non-box sections.
- Fixed a general issue when starting US LRFD 9 design section analysis.
- Fixed an internal error when generating an interaction surface for a US LRFD design section.
