The latest Framework for Civil 3D 2023 Release 8 contains the largest and most in-depth collection of Civil 3D Templates, Civil 3D Styles, and mission critical Civil 3D resources available anywhere at any price. There’s a mouthful.

The capability for our Framework for Civil 3D civil engineering and survey customers to visualize, edit, and maintain all of those many Civil 3D resources demands functional and practical examples tied to viable Civil 3D Project datasets.

We deliver practical solutions to those real world challenges.
We take the time to develop and maintain detailed Sandbox Projects delivered with the Jump Kit.

The Framework for Civil 3D Sandbox Projects help you learn vital Civil 3D skills, train others, and manage and maintain your own Civil 3D Templates, Civil 3D Styles, and other Civil 3D resources.

A new video overview of the Label Style Expression Set Sandbox Project is now available.

The Civil 3D 2023 Label Style Expression Set Sandbox Project

The powerful, adaptive, and robust Intelligent Publish On Demand (iPOD) technologies built into the Framework for Civil 3D 2023 are marvelous to behold. iPOD for Label Style Expression Sets is even more exhilarating to practice and perform in your own Civil 3D Projects.

Framework for Civil 3D 2023 Project Update

An updated versions of the Framework for Civil 3D 2023 Release 8 example STB Sandbox Projects for the Framework Release 8 NCS 6.0+ flavor are now available.

Jump Kit 8 2023 customers may download the updated NCS 6.0+ for the STB Sandbox Project build from the respective product download page.

Better Sandbox Projects

There were significant improvements and edits made to drawings, project data, and structures of the supplied Sandbox Projects.

The Label Style Expression Set Project dataset was updated and validated with the Autodesk Desktop Connector’s Reference Explorer tool.

The Turn Lanes and Medians Project dataset updated and validated with the Autodesk Desktop Connector’s Reference Explorer tool.

A few dated example drawings were removed and replaced with new drawing content to minimize the Sandbox Project size, maximize usability, and clarify Civil 3D workflows.

Consistency updates were made to project drawing shared Sandbox Project data.

See the Release 8 Details page for additional details.

The Reference Explorer Tool

“What’s all this about the Reference Explorer Tool?”

The Reference Explorer tool is an important resource available in the Autodesk Desktop Connector app. Even if you do not plan to employ an Autodesk Cloud solution, all by itself the Reference Explorer is an important and useful Civil 3D project maintenance tool.

Validating our local Civil 3D project drawings with Reference Explorer is easy and often informative.

The Reference Explorer Tool can evaluate and visually report on all the many potential file references that can occur in a Civil 3D project drawing.

What our production drawings reference can get really interesting. Sometimes the hanging chads may become problematic in Civil 3D. Just sayin’.
