Some mention of purpose and utility of Label Style Defaults (LSD) and the need for consistent Label Style structure should have been made.

Just so you know...The Framework's 5000+ supplied Codes, Description Key Sets, Figure PrefixDb, Point Group, and Point Style resources all work great with the CTC Software Tools.
Makes us wonder where CTC got the idea to employ Excel Spreadsheets to manage many complex things in Civil 3D.
