Let it be said that there are actually 4 levels of Setting Hierarchy - Drawing, Feature, Feature Type, and Command.
The Feature Type Settings are all about Label Style Settings and each Feature's specific Label Style Defaults. These sometimes overlooked sections of the Settings Hierarchy can make all the difference in your ability to effectively manage annotation in Civil 3D.
