Michael Ferrell, a Technical Specialist at ATG, delivers a lengthy webinar on basic to intermediate Surface repair mechanics.
From the ATG YouTube Channel.
Comments
Michael's coverage of the Civil 3D Surface Build properties and Edits of the Surface build order is good stuff.
How to remove the unneccesssary ACAD primitives from a DTM is an important tip to know.
His explanation of Wall breakline mechanics in a great how to tip.
This webinar is certainly targeted at the old school Feature Lines Only crowd.
I'm not sure why he never states...
The order that surface point data and breakline edits enter a DTM Surface model (and how they are processed) is more important than most recognize.
In other words, a vomit it all in and clean up the mess approach usually makes for more silly cleanup work.

This tool first introduced in Civil 3D 2018 can be very handy in project publish drawings when needed.
We must carefully place such file references in well thought out locations in our project file structure or face the negative consequences downstream.
Embedded hyperlinks to cloud-based public or private folders (which may hold multiple documents) may be easier to manage in many instances.
You might want to check how well the current Autodesk Connector for BIM 360 Docs identifies and handles these file references and content.
