Watching someone import points into Civil 3D outside of a Survey Db context always makes me cringe.
It is so old school. I've become a sucker for the Powers of Survey Queries.
Points are classified in some way even if they are a cloud. I do wish for Limits in Queries.
Jerry's claimed context here is a bit contrived, but it does get to the point of his handy tip about ASCII File Import Formats.
