A decent instructional video that demos the essentials of the classic Civil 3D Plan Production Tools using the Ascent courseware dataset.

In our projects it is usually a good idea to create the ViewFrames and ViewFrameGroups in the project DREF drawings that store and share the Alignment geometries.
This allows us to create and recreate consistent and standardized Plan and Profile Sheets for the various deliverables we must produce.
It is also possible to employ publish Alignments that differ from the actual design Alignment geometry. If we do that then we have to take more care with the displayed Labels.
