How to use the COGO Editor in the Survey Ribbon. Not to be confused with the Traverse and Adjustment tools in 2016 Productivity Pack 3. That's a bit confusing...

I cannot stress enough that you need to get the setup done and save the file and save often in all of these tools which do work only in memory.
Steve mentions this but it takes him a while to get there. :+)
