How to Generate Quick Sections of a Surface in Civil 3D 2017

Jerry Bartels of Autodesk covers the Civil 3D Toolbox command AECCCREATEQUICKCROSSSECTION.
The command creates single or multiple quick sections of a surface. The command is new in Civil 3D 2017.

This handy surface visualization command is NOT XREF aware nor can you select multiple surfaces or other Civil 3D data sources.
The surface can obviously be a DREF.
It certainly saves you the time and effort necessary to create a temporary Alignment and Sample Line Groups to do the entire process.
Of course, you can also still use the Quick Profile Tool and move the object around. Look and feel on the display representation is a matter of Style.
