Autodesk's redefinition of the 2019 Marker style's Profile display system representation allows 2019 Markers to serve as either point locations or lines for Alignment crossings in a Profile View.
Reading Jeff's post linked above may help that mean something useful to you if you don't understand what a display system representation does and is.

As usual, Jeff dodges the importance of the need for a planned approach to your styles both in name and in their use of properties.
